That's really hard to say, I used to be able to say that Tool was my favorite group, hands down, but being exposed to different music over the last few years has made me think differently. Here's a list I can give you, in no particular order:

I've always had a huge amount of respect for Ozzy Osbourne, and I was also a huge Megadeth fan, but unfortunately Megadeth is no more, since Dave Mustaine suffered nerve damage to his hand and can't play guitar anymore. He could STILL sing! I don't know why they couldn't just find another lead guitarist and have Dave be straight vocals.
It's weird, though. Lately, I've been exposed to a lot of techno and rave music. I used to think it was all repetitive and irritating, but then I went to my buddy's beach house party after the Marine Corps ball, got drunk, and watched people dance with glowsticks in blacklight. That really tripped me out, and afterwards, I felt drawn to it and wanted to learn how to dance like that. I'm still a Rock man, though.
