The power supply on my new computer gave out recently. I need a new one, and used to know several sites where you can buy computer parts. I remember egghead.com, but the part isn't there. Anyone know any others?

mabus, being it's a new computer. I'd contact the place you bought it and have them replace it.

I bought mine at Best Buy and my powersupply went out in 11 months! I contacted them they told me to bring it in, they checked it and replaced it free of charge. So try calling them and see, couldn't hurt. 🙂 Good luck!

guess what BettyBoop2002, I got mine at Best Buy too. And mine was only 3 months old! But here's my question - did you purchase the warranty, or did you just bring it in? I didn't get the warranty, because it was only for two years, and was two hundred dollars. I just paid that toward the computer. I made the mistake of buying expensive warranties for things before, and those things giving no trouble and me wasting a lot of money.

Most warrenties on high-end items such as computers usually have a 90 day warrenty, provided that you did not physically abuse the system.

I'vee found some of the best deals on computer parts on www.pricewatch.com . It's spoiled me a lot for retail stores. But do examine the stores that they list, to be satisfied for yourselves.

I was going to suggest the same site as Smiley. I found my video card off of pricewatch.com, and I got a really good deal on it.

I used PC part picker and where the deals were listed were where I bought from. That being said in 2015 that was mostly NewEgg.
