Where should I get my tattoo?

Any ideas on where I should get my tattoo? I was thinking the back of my neck but i'm sure. Pitch me some ideas pleeeease.

On the buttocks is a good place for a tattoo because then you control who gets to see it.

If you're still young (under 30) and it's your first tat, get it somewhere it can easily be concealed during something like a job interview. I'm set up for my 4th tattoo right now. I have two on my back and one on each calf. If I were being interviewed for a job or meeting a gf's parents for the first time, they'd never know if I didn't tell them.

I was thinking about getting a rose or the japanese symbol for water, trying to make up my mind. At first I was thinking song lyrics on my left side but I don't think i'd wanna see that when i'm older haha.

I would recommend your hips. I have a tattoo there and I love the spot, because I can super easily show it off if I want to, but I can cover it just as easily.

Mine is on my right hip, directly below my hipbone. It doesn't hurt too badly, and it's convenient.

It really depends on your budget. For instance, Bangkok is a great place to get a tattoo, but the airfare will cost you more than the actual tattoo, so unless you have some other reason for going there I'd skip it. The worst place to get a tattoo is in a bar or on a bus.

I'd say think about it long and hard. I have four tattoos and while I love them and they have special meaning to me, if I had the chance to go back, I might do things differently. It's important to think about how that tattoo is going to affect your future in terms of getting a job. It's cool to say "Do what makes you happy and fuck everyone else" but first impressions make a difference and people do judge based on appearances. On another note, black is the easiest color ink to remove if you end up regretting it.

Hip tattoos on a woman can permanently distort after a pregnancy. USE CAUTION.
