Which is more intense and important?

The reaction of the ticklee (giggling/Squirming/laughter) when you tickle their bare feet or is your own satifaction of holding their naked feet in your clutches and dancing your fingers over their soft naked soles?
In other words,do you react more pleasurably to results you see in the victim or are you more selfish to your own pleasured interests!?

It's been a while since I had the opportunity to tickle a girl, but my last girlfriend had a very specific reaction that was so great. She would be tied to the corners of the bed, which she loved, and she knew I was going to tickle her. Just before it would begin, she would appear to get nervous and pull on her limbs, trying to defend herself. Then, she would always look to each of her bound wrists, as though hoping to find some weakness in the way they were tied.
When she realized that escape was impossible, a sort of change would come over her. I thought of it as a form of the fight-or-flight syndrome, in which when a person is startled or threatened, numerous hormones, especially adrenaline, are released into the body. The adrenalin increases heart rate and breathing rate, and also increases alertness and perception.
Her instincts were screaming "Why aren't you defending yourself?" while her cognitive self realized that this was impossible. Her pupils would dilate in that instant and an expression that was a mixture of nervousness and defiance would come over her face, represtentative, I think, of the battle inside her between instinct and reason.
That was always my favorite moment, that reaction.

Being a self-proclaimed control freak, I always go for the response. I love that shocked and surprised look on the face of the lee when I've found a good spot. It's even better when I discover an unknown tickle spot the lee didn't know about. I just love those reactions!!!!!

I have discovered that when I am stroking some lovely lady's feet & there is NO reaction, I get VERY disappointed & the 'fun' is kinda ruined for me. Then I just want to lick & suck their feet. As an instinctual reaction, I tend to stroke their feet after a while of licking . . . just in case that having her feet licked first might make her a little ticklish.

I gotta agree w/everyone else on this ...... tickling just really isn't any fun ( & it might not even be considered tickling ) if there is no reaction ..... otherwise , it's like stroking a dead fish (no offense to fish-fetishists)
