Who is Brad1701 and why is he so good at trivia?

I don’t go into the chat room, but Brad1701 evidently does, because his name is always on the “trivia winner” box on the left panel of this website.

So, is Brad1701 really great at trivia, or is Brad1701 the only person playing trivia?

Brad is really quick with the typing. sometimes i dont even get through the entire question then hes already got the answer.

People tend to mock/deny/etc that which they don’t understand. We’re lucky enough to be witness to someone like Brad. Speed reading, along with fast typing skills and an exceptional reaction time I’m sure are all part of it. Others have won too, but Brad does tend to dominate. What you don’t get to see, is how he encourages others and cheers them on for their wins, whether it’s individual questions, or trivia as a whole.

He isn’t just smart/talented, he’s also a good sport and fun to watch play 🙂

Brad is definitely the favorite to win any given trivia. He knows a lot of different topics, and types super fast. I wouldn't say he's an AI, there's plenty of fun typos when he's trying to type as fast as possible. He's also diligently playing every week, while other people come to play less regularly.

TMF does keep track of all the winners, so you can see that other people win from time to time. It's usually fun to root for the underdog, and these days trivia has a second round where the winner doesn't participate. So you can have a little fun without having to compete against Brad or the person who managed to defeat Brad.
