Who's getting gears of war 3?

Now I user to okay xbox a lot back like 2 years ago and I always thought about selling it but never did just because I knew if buy another one for this game...

So is anyone on the tmf getting gears of war 3 on the 20th?

I'm not a gamer, know nothing about Gears of War, and this may be off-topic......but I love the Mazzy Star song that plays during the commercial for this game.

I will definitely be getting it eventually, but other games rank higher on my list of priorities. My next purchase will be Warhammer 40k: Space Marine, then the Ico/Shadow of the Colossus collection for PS3, and by the time I've put together the extra funds for both of those, it'll be close to time for Arkham City to come out, so Gears is gonna be on the backburner for a while.

I played Gears 1 and 2 with my college roommate, and I honestly am kinda bummed I won't play Gears 3 since I graduated.

I'm on the fence about GOW 3 I think I'll wait to see what others have to say about it before getting it or not

The beta was pretty awesome. Dedicated servers and an overall more solid game.

I'll be picking it up at midnight tonight.

The game is amazing.

The graphics are great, the action is intense, the storyline is awesome, etc.

The online has some issues but is pretty fun. I mostly am gonna play Horde and Beast modes though and not so much the competitive modes. It kinda sucks with Horde that there's 50 waves of enemies and this will take hours to go through, but if you join a random public game you always have to start at wave 1, and if anyone drops for any reason, that slot is basically done and no replacements are able to join or anything. Kinda shitty. Farthest I made it was wave 30 before everyone dropped off. Also there's Normal, Hardcore and Insane modes to these and queuing up for a random match will only go for Normal and you can't choose another difficulty.

Still fun, though.

Yeah, i've purchased the Uncut Version and love it. I've played all parts of Gears of War. The Atmosphere is just great and the awesome looking graphic. The Mulitplayer is great also, i play this every day (Most of the Time Horde 🙂 )
