Why do so many people "outgrow" tickling?

Definitely one of the drawbacks of life after college, or even high school is that people seem to "outgrow" tickling. During high school, and college, there seemed to be non-stop tickling, but nowadays in social settings, like nightclubs, or cocktail parties, w/people my own age, tickling is practically non-existent! It's almost as if people are saying; "We're adults now! Tickling's for kids!" God, it's boring, being an adult! 🙁

Try attending Science Fiction conventions. Note: I'm NOT talking about Star Trek or Star Wars conventions, or the ones aimed at pimply 15-yr-old computer gamers. A real SF con is for adults. We convene at a hotel, there are organized events, but mainly it's an opportunity to party all weekend with friends.

Established cons are annual events. There's plenty of them, and most have websites. Check it out. Depending on where you live, you'll find maybe 5-10 a year that are in reasonable driving distance of home. Attend a few, make yourself known, and you'll find that you've become part of the family. At that point, tickling is perfectly acceptable behavior.

Never out grow it here

Other than time constraints and opportunities, the desire will always be here. Beside I doubt I will continue to gain any height at this age. 😀
