Hi there this is my probably 3rd or 4th contributation but I was just curious I've been around the tickling newsgroups and such for a while but it seems like there isn't really that much f/m tickling out there. Does anyone have any insight as to why we don't see more f/m tickling videos or pics? As someone who enjoys f/m the lack of content and material has always kind of bothered me so does anyone else feel the same way or have any insight as to why there isn't more stuff out there for us? I think up until very recently there wasn't that much quality material. The few videos that were out were kind of silly mainly put out by Prestige and Platinum both of which are out of business. I think the fact that those early videos probably didn't sell well probably convinced a lot of early fetish video producers that there wasn't a market. I think there is a market for it if the pictures or videos are well made. I also think that men will buy this material as well as women though I have no ideal as to what the percentages are.
Myself I kind of switch between f/f, f/m, and m/f material being mainly interested in the quality of the stuff rather than the kind of stuff offered.
There is some suff out there now. Yaqi has 3 f/m videos of which I have two and I would say they are pretty good I would suggest you look at his website and judge for yourself if you want them. Remember his site is being pulled down at the end of the year. Footparadise has two f/m vidoes which are pretty good as well. Also FM Concepts has started a www.meninbondage.com website which has a women tickling men section. They also have a video "Girls Tickle, Guys Giggle" which is not bad. Silvercherry productions also has two f/m videos with the promise of more on the way. Thats all I can think of right now, if I you are interested and I think of any more stuff I will post it to this thread. Also in a previous thread Mistress Mia has said she was interested in doing a f/m video. I am certain if she does do it, it will be very good.
Anyway I think things are improving in the f/m market I think if the quality is good then people will buy it.

I don't like /m at all. Just don't. I think the reason that you don't see a lot of it is because the (active) tickling community is prodominantly male. Women do come here, but many of them are 'lees. There aren't as many male 'lees as there are 'lers, unless i'm wrong (which is very very possible). Also, because for most of us tickling has somewhat of a sexual nature, and because many of us are heterosexual, this adds up to a wealth of /f material. Hope this answers your query.

Stef2dope, there is a lot f/m tickling material out there. If you go to the TMF's story section, you'll find quite a few pieces of material which is f/m.

I agree that f/m is nowhere near homosexual in nature, but like I said, most guys are visual, and not thinking about being the guy tickled, just wanting to see tickling.... I think for a lot of guys, to see a girl tickle a guy would draw their attention to the one being tickled, and if that is coupled with an arousal response to a guy, then it kind of makes a lot of men uncomfortable....especially because I thik there are a lot more male 'lers out there than 'lees.

I had never really thought about the fact that a fetish could transcend gender.... but it makes a lot of sense.
On the other hand, that is not true in my case. All of my interests center around females.
It would be interesting to hear from some people that this does apply to. I imagine that cold be a confusing thing to go through, as though having a fetish isn't stressfull enough at times.... sheesh.

I'd say two reasons. First, in general girls are less vocal about their sexual fantasies and desires (therefore wouldn't buy the videos, and second their are less girls with a tickling fetish (or at least they stay quiet).
Why isn't there more f/m material? You mean pictures and video clips? In addition to Myriads' observation, there's the fact that there's not a profitable-enough call for the female dominant content, same as the lack of female dominant or male subordinant sexually explicit magazines (read: Playgirl)
Women don't tend to buy that stuff as much. Don't know why, but there've been more studies on that then you'd believe. Sociology and psychology has decades of research on male dominance there.

I am a male that leans towards the 'lee side of things. I think that when I watch ticke material, I subconsciously envision myself in the 'lee's position. I therefore don't like any m/* stuff, I stick to the f/*.
However, I also have a foot fetish, and I don't like to see any male feet up close. Any f/m upperbody stuff is cool, but I stay away from seeing any f/m foot tickling. It is because of this last fact that I have never financially supported any f/m videos. They all have some sort of foot tickling involved. I have plenty of f/f videos, but none that are f/m.

I believe he has one of them available to order but I don't know if he's ever shipped out any of his orders.
The other hinderance is that often men asking for f/m videos are ridiculed. I've never quite understood why. Frankly, I think it's quite a treat when a guy will allow himself to be tickled by a woman or women at one of our gatherings. It's a rare occurrence indeed and very much appreciated. Hopefully more of the guys will allow us ladies to indulge ourselves. We don't video those scenes but they're sure imbedded in our memory! LOL

Given such, it ain't too big a surprise to find that most of the small houses producin' videos for our interest are focusing on m/f.
It's just sad, though. There's a tremendous interest in buying your products, but the VOLUME of f/m product in the market, for our interest, is scant, and not well advertised.
Add to that, the fact that you're leaving, and come 2002, it'll be smaller still.

I still think there is still a large interest in f/m material and if there were more people like Yaqi producing quality videos it would be larger still. IF the fems in the community spoke out and demanded f/m tickle material and purchased said material then there would be more of the aformentioned material produced.
Tickling only APPEARS to be a male dominant passion.
There are indeed women that love tickling as much as we gentleman.

Y'know, extremetickling.com has a whole F/m section, but the best stuff is not even there, it's in the 'Ticklespot' section which has a *bunch* of clips of a good-looking young fellow restrained and at the mercy of a rather lovely young woman, not that she shows much mercy. IMO the best has him in nothing but boxers, loosely restrained at the wrists and ankles so he can struggle a good bit but to little avail, and she works him over but good. She knows what she's doing and appears to enjoy it, too... always a plus...
...may the Gods and Goddesses bless Uncle Steven for persevering through his technical problems... the site's been running smoothly (for me anyway) for the last couple or three weeks, and it's just been reorganized to be more user-friendly.

There are men and women who never want to take the ticklee role because it just doesn't appeal to them or for some other personal reasons. There are men and women who don't mind either role. Also there are men and women who only want to be in the ticklee role. FM Concepts "Men In Bondage" site now has a decent size f/m tickling section and they now have two videos out dealing with the subject. I am reading this thread thinking that for me it is just more of a private one on one issue. If I posted all about my sexual fantasies and desires in an open forum such as this, it would take that privacy away.

As for the discussion of hetrosexuality and tickling. I think that Myriads hit it right on the head when he said people tend to think their sexuality preferences can't cross their fetish boundary. I found it kind of interesting that most of the female responses in this thread mention preferring to read a story rather than look at vids/pictures. Ven and I have had this discussion a few times, as he is obviously into the visual stimulation 😛 while I can sit down and really get into a well written story.. I'll have to suppose this is not coincidental.
