Why must passport pictures suck???

Same as Drivers License...so i finally got my first ever passport...and i get to live with that picture for ten damn years...ack..and too late i realized i could have brought one from home...however my only consolation is my husband's looks far worse than mine..at least i don't burst out laughing whenever i see mine..instead i burst out crying...sighs..

I've never had a passport photo taken, so I can't speak to that. But I sure hear ya on the Driver's License photos. I've only gotten lucky with those once in my entire life. It's a total crapshoot.

I have a theory that they have some special filter on the D.M.V. cameras. The way it works is - the more you try to spruce-up for the picture, the worse the photo will actually turn out! Perhaps the idea is to show up as disheveled as possiblt, and things will right themselves in an accidental manner(?).

ya that's the ticket..i'm trying to sneak out..with that passport ticket i'm sure i could..giggles..

My pics ain't that bad - I guess I got lucky.

My classmate had a really bad one. A Ticket Inspector could hardly stop laughing when he saw it.
