wich windows you use and what is your configuration?

I need the help to know the average pc that the users of the forum have.

I need thos e information for the developing of my game; please if you have other info to add you can post here all the technical data that you want 🙂

I need mainly to know:

The operating system that you use
how much ram you have
the speed and the brand of the processor
the graphic card memory (16mb-32mb-64mb-etc etc)and type (agp 2x-4x-8x-pci express - pci)

x800 pro...wow 😀 is a pci express, not an agp (anyway the technical specification can be compared to a agp 8x, but is more powerful) 😀 great machine HDS 😀

I use

XP pro
1 GB ram DDr 400
Athlon XP64 3 ghz
Ati radeon 9800 pro (agp 8x 128 mb)

I was thinking to use as minimum configuration

Windows xp home
a simple pentium 3 600 mhz
64 mb ram
Any video card with agp 2x and 16 mb minimum

Resolution: 800x600 or 1024x768 (the user can choose before to begin the game)

If the 3d will be implemented inside the game at the level that i hope to reach....the minimum configuration will be like this:

Athlon or Intel; 1.2 ghz or above
Win xp
256 mb ram ddr (minimum 266mhz, that is equal to say pci2100)
Video card with at least 64 mb ram and agp 4x or above

All depends about the 3d implementation 😀

If someone still use win 98-ME-2000 and old machines (2 or 3 generations ago...like athlon first model (700 mhz) or pentium 3 (600 mhz) or cyrix processors, and old video card wit pci bus or agp 2x please post here the specs 🙂

I use win XP pro spanish version, 128 MB of ram, 3 GB HD, built-in video card (8 MB of memory), Celeron 1.10 Ghz (an old one ! 😛 😀).
