does anybody here have experiance playing Wii..i just got one ...any good game sugestions? (i have Zelda TP)

zelda is about the only good game for it right now, red steel is pretty ok, but the game play is hard to figure out

(even though i rule at it) woot hahaha

Trauma Center is pretty good, even if you've already played the DS version. Elebits is similar to the crazy gameplay that is Katamari, so if that peaked your interest I'd give it a run. What I wasn't fond of was ExciteTruck. For some reason I just could not get those controls to work.

Sonic and the Secret Rings is being very acclaimed right now. But whenever they release Animal Crossing, don't hesitate in buying it!

The Virtual Console is actually quite a rip-off. 8-bit games that are over twenty years old at $5.00 a pop? It's a crime.

I know, I know... but an emulator that plays all games without spitting "Mapper #5fuckyouverymuch unsupported" at me? I can't say it's not tempting...

If Virtual Console were free or, say, $.99 for these old games, it wouldn't be such a big deal, admittedly. But at $5.00, the cost-benefit analysis just doesn't find it feasible. That, and the VC won't have all the games on them (i.e. Japanese exclusives, beta versions, or even really rare licensed games).

You can't really expect the beta versions to be commercially released... but... no Japanese-only releases? According to this, it's a possibility, though far from certain. Personally, a world in which I cannot play Baby Mario (um... or Bio Miracle Bokutte Upa) is one in which I cannot live (I'm serious! I like that game).
Annnyway... we'll see how it does. If the service is indeed overpriced and underfeatured, people will keep playing with their NESticles.

i recomend either, Red Steel, and Splinter Cell Double Agent, I have not played Red Steel, but I heard good things from a friend, Splinter Cell is OK but the camera control is very annoying.

btw: good call on Zelda TP

I don't see what the big deal is. I support games I like by actually going and buying them. Not to mention that playing without save states *gasp* actually makes the game harder! My god!

1. I've already paid for Super Mario Bros. about a billion times over, not to mention all the other games I already own that are on the VC. Since I own them, why, then, should I have to pay an additional $5.00 (which is, again, extremely overpriced for a 20+ year old 8-bit game)? And then, for all the other games I don't own, I still shouldn't have to pay $5.00 to get them because, again, it's extremely overpriced for what they are.

2. This money isn't going to support anything. Nintendo already made the money they were going to make on these games when these games came out 20 years ago. All the money Nintendo gets from the Virtual Console TODAY is just bonus to them, and supports virtually nothing.

3. We're not all Donald Trump.

4. You can't even save those games to a memory card and play them on another Wii. Indeed, each account is linked to one Wii, and one Wii only; if it breaks and you have to get a new one, you'll be buying those games all over again if you want to play them.

My birthday is on the same day as Donald Trump's....does that count?

Zelda is awesome of course. I played and liked Elebits very much. I'm playing Tiger Woods 2007 right now. Its tough but fun. Unfortunately, they left a lot of stuff out of the game. I've played, but don't own, SUper Monkey Ball, Rayman Raving Rabids, and Wario Ware. These all have limited lifespans in my opinion, but they are definitely good for multi-player.

Oh yes, I've also been downloading a lot of SNES game because that's the system I had years ago. Of those games I recommend Super Mario World, Contra 3, Super Ghouls & Ghosts, and Zelda: A Link To The Past.
Elevator Action for the NES.

I really hope they add some of my favorite games to VC that I have been unable to play cause I lost the originals. Games like The Secret of Evermore and the illusion of Gaia. Pure classics.

I've got one, and I'm pretty addicted to it. Got Mario Kart 64 from the Virtual Console, also got Rayman Raving Rabbids and Zelda TP. So far, I'd say Rayman is my current favorite on the Wii, mainly because if any game has you shooting rabbits with a plunger gun, you know it's gottaa be good. I plan on getting that new Sonic and the Secret Rings as well. Heard from a lot of people that's pretty good, so I'm willing to give it a shot.

Because guess what? Not all of us still own each system we ever had. Oldest console I have is a Nintendo 64. Not to mention it's a case of why are you buying what you don't like. If you don't like to pay money for games, by all means, download it somewhere else. I'm sure as hell not stopping you, because I prefer my games on consoles. Go figure. And as for Super Mario Bros., I would be content paying twice that for an amazing game. Ha.

It goes to Nintendo. Guess what? It supports them. Unless you want to argue that the money you're paid does not go to support you, I'd say that's a pretty flawless argument there.

If paying five to ten dollars for an old game you like makes someone Donald Trump, I really have to wonder.

Which is a good idea; otherwise you'd have a problem of one person buying it and spreading it to all their friends, who spread it to all their friends, etcetera. And I'm pretty sure that there will be mod chips attempting to break that in the near future.

As for the Wii breaking, I'm not going to be stupid and say something like 'the Wii will never break,' but I do have faith in Nintendo's quality. Of all the systems I've had, most were Nintendo, followed by the PS2 and the XBox. The XBox I struggled with nigh-continuously until I sold it, the PS2 I've had to replace, but Nintendo? The most damage a Nintendo console has ever suffered with me was purely cosmetic. Nothing else.

I have a wii, and ive never enjoyed Nintendo so much as i have now 😀

I'd HIGHLY recommend Call of Duty 3, Warioware & wii play

Really very good, but i'd have to say TP beats them all hands down 😀

does anyone know SSBs release date?
