Greetings phellow Tee Emm Epherrs.

Join us tonight for WCR's monthly "Serious Issue" show for a topic important to both Cindy and I.

As our female population grows and becomes more outgoing, the threat of being stalked or harrassed online is ever-present. Especially in a fetish-based community, what appears as flirtatious or "in good fun" can sometimes hide sinister intent with tragic results.

Tonight, we will be discussing the difference between the two, things to look out for and ways you can protect yourself. Not only ours, but many online communities exist for the purpose of sharing and providing people with a springboard to get to know one another and meet. Unfortunately, not everyone has the best intentions in mind.

We will also be discussing various resources available and what you can do if you've been the victim of online sexual harrassment or serious stalking and threats against yourself.

We will also touch on the subject of the current MySpace suicide case, and the legal ramifications involved.

The Internet is a great new tool for connecting with others, so we hope to help make it a better place in some small way.

Glad to see your bringing positive info to this forum on a very unfortunate subject. They're so many wonderful people to meet on this forum, but this is the world wide web. There are some nutty people out there folks! Offering facts, advice and preventive ideas to everybody is a terrific contribution! GOOD WORK!

Again, I apologize for the last-minute cancellation of the show last night. I'd thought that my flu or whatever it is that's been sticking with me would clear up by then, but alas, no.

However, Cindy and I are passionate about this topic and while the show didn't happen, the topic is still on the slate and will be made even better when WCR comes back on the air and tackles this. In fact, given the extra time, I've asked for insights and tips from some prominent and experienced folks on the forum...so the show should be even better than we'd already planned for.

We appreciate the positive feedback we've received when we've tackled some tougher topics and continue to try and make WCR the best show that we can.
