The movie is about that convict who goes to the desert and terrorizes a family on vacation.

I believe it was released between the late 1980's and 2000. I saw it in the 1990's.

Yeah, he was standing at the foot of the bed and then you saw him move his arm to where her foot was and you saw her break into laughter and beg him to stop.
