Woman had soles tattooed for charity

I thought about Cara Delevigne for a moment~

I never got tattoos but I am pretty confident that it does not tickle at all. However, maybe it makes the skin more sensitive? If such is the case, someone has to get to work on these girls!!

The article mentions several times that her feet are TICKLISH.

What I'm wondering is WHY.
This woman's "fundraising plan" makes absolutely no sense whatsoever.
Unless she's just trying to find the most sadistic people out there who will pay £500 or more to essentially torture this woman.... Or is she the masochist? For thinking that "Yeah... This is a good idea!

WHAT??!? um....... NO.
Raising money for charity is great, especially that it goes into funding cancer research.
It's for a good cause... But this is just not the way to go about it.
I can't possibly imagine how she came up with idea.
They tried to explain the idea a little in the article... But I just don't get how an idea like this pops into someone's head, and their attitude is "Oh! That's a Brilliant plan!"

Whah?? Really? - So Finding people to bid for a spot on your soles, to tattoo their name is a good idea?
That just sounds like... Unnecessary torture.
I bet she would get WAYY more money if she offered her soles for a one hour- tickle torture session to the highest bidder, opposed to stabbing someone's name into them!

And btw this story had nothing to with tickling or anything like that - Ticklishness was only used to describe how sensitive her feet are - which are not going be tickled, No, they will be jabbed hundreds of times with a needle and permanently injected with ink.

Sorry, maybe I'm wrong about this .... But is there anyone else here who reads this and also this was just a terrible Idea to make money?
Hopefully others agree with me about possibly finding a better way to raise money other than having people bid to put you through a grueling hour of pain.

Who else thinks The hour-tickle session is both: smarter, and would have raised more money?
Since its for a good cause, I imagine there are a ton of Lers out there who would be willing to do this!

It gives ideas though. Let's say that a woman will be tickle tortured in public, each dollar donated equaling one minute of torture? I'd happily donate hundreds, and I am sure a lot of others here would. We could make it last for months, enjoy ourselves AND make some poor orphans happy~

Well, first off, there's all kinds of wacky ideas people do for charity.

My guess is......if she's going to have people's names tattooed on her......might as well do it on a place where people don't see......it's probably the most "out of the way" place for her. I mean, does she really want strangers names tattooed on her fanny? Or her back? Where her lover, maybe, might see it? I'll bet that's how she arrived at the soles.

They say in advertising that if you want someone to look at your ad: put a beautiful woman in it. It attracts men and women equally. So....using that principle....this woman is shrewd in using herself as the "prize"....as opposed to.....I'll do a walkathon.

Obviously it worked since they wrote an article about it....and we're all here talking about it! So, no, I don't think it's a terrible way to make money, or attract attention to her cause. It already has worked! This thread is the proof!

(what's her cause again?....lol)
