I can dig the wild n costume-ish make up; and I can dig the more natural looking stuff. It's all for show anyways, right?
Although, I'm not against makeup; I like natural, makeup-less faces. My gf, for a while, didn't wear make up on our dates because she thought I disliked it; which wasn't true.
I had to explain that I appreciate her natural beauty, but if she fancies make-up, then I'm totally cool with it. Next time we went out, she wore it and wow... She wore very subtle, natural tones, and it really looked good.
So ya, make-up (or face paint, as I affectionately call it) can look good; its colorful, and to me it celebrates the natural beauty of a woman; just like jewelry, and fancy clothes. None of that stuff works if you don't feel beautiful on the inside anyway (this is true for guys too).
