I think this will be it for me today, I just uploaded, like......100 clips! Ok, maybe not that many, but it feels like it. Haven't been on the TMF for a while, wanted to post these clips lest I ever have a computer crash.

Anyways, here's some Woody Allen-related clips. Some are stretching it, but I'm sure you'll enjoy them all in one or another.

1.) Woody just stops short of tickling Romy Schneider in "What's New Pussycat" ...or does he? Either way, I wouldn't have let her off so easy.

2.) In one of his greatest movies, "Zelig", he puts himself into the 1920s and seems to be goosing the sides and backs of two bathing beauties.

3.) In "Curse Of The Jade Scorpion", Helen Hunt has Woody's number! I think hearing this from a woman would send a chill down any 'ler!

4.) and 5.) Lastly, some more tickletalk.... from "Bananas" (where Howard Cosell interviews Louise Lasser on her wedding night) and "Scoop" (with a skittish Scarlet Johansen)

Boycott Woody? Never. Why, because of the kid thing? Who cares. Wagner was a proto-Nazi, I still listen to him. Lewis Carroll was a child pornographer, I still love "Alice In Wonderland". etc etc etc....... My contract with these people is their work, not their private lives and with Woody I'm not sure anything even happened in the first place. (the Soon Yi thing was a pretty horrible thing to do to Mia, though. His movies got sucky pretty quickly after that).

I actually boycott Woody because he makes lousy movies now!!! He won't get me in to a movie theater ever again! I don't care what the reviews are! But I can't give back the laughs he already gave me nor do I want to. Ditto Bill Cosby. Put him in jail if you have to, but leave me my comedy records!

And I agree that one can appreciate an artist's work (be it a book, film, record, painting, or whatever) while simultaneously believing that the artist is a criminal who belongs in prison. (Which I do not think about Woody Allen.)
