Worst movies you've ever seen?

Ok, this one was inevitable. To continue with the threads about movies, I'm asking you at this time "what are the absolute worst movies that you can remember seeing?"

The ones that are coming to mind at this moment are the following: Don't Go In the House, Don't Answer The Phone, (or was it Don't Go In The Basement?), The Boogens, The Boogeyman, Casino (I know others liked it, but I actually left the theater physically sick), Mafia (Applegate - had to turn it off), Sahara and Endless Love (with the unsinkable Brooke Shields).

The worst movie that I've ever seen had to be Eye Of The Beholder, starring Ashley Judd. That one was such a retched piece of puke that I had the urge to take it back to the vid store and stick in someone's nether regions. Ok, I'm exaagerating, but it really sucked!

The worst movie I ever saw was "Ishtar."

"Sahara" with Brooke Shields was truly awful, and it is a shame that it has that title, because there is a great movie with exactly the same title, but made during World War II and starring Humphrey Bogart.

a toss up between Star Wars Episode I and The Matrix Reloaded and HULK. All 3 were equally horrible.

Well, first off I like most of the movies amnesiac hates...lol...actually,. they are simply fun to watch and make fun of with friends...I hated and was disappointed with
The Pledge (with Jack Nicholson)
Zoolander
Dead alive
Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2 and 3
Halloween 3

The Matrix Reloaded
A.I.

I would add "Caddyshack 2" and "Blues Brothers 2000" but I only got thru about 10 minutes of each of them before I shut off the t.v. in disgust.

Just thought of two more....

"King Solomon's Mine," and it's haunting sequel "Alan Quartermain and The Lost City of something, something..."

Both films star Richard Chamberlain and Sharon Stone, and they both stink! They show up on TBS from time to time. Please avoid.

i am acctually laughing at some of the replies

i enjoyed many of them!

but the worst (came to mine right away) is ishtar.
worst tickle movie is a tie; all of sinclair blue's tickle videos.

Never finished "Meet Joe Black" and have yet to see a Brad Pitt Movie I liked.

Anything with Ben Stiller. I feel he's over-rated.

Can't stand Tom Cruise! Every film is the same character! He couldn't even act sexy in a movie with HIS WIFE!

and the list goes on and on...lol

speaking of over-rated actors...

Nicholas Cage comes to mind. I think the guy is humorless and flat. Yet he seems to have a following. Why in the world is this guy popular? I know he won an Oscar for "Leaving Las Vegas." But I've seen the movie, and it just me with my hands in the hands in the air saying "Oscar for for this performance?" Bascically, he played a flat, humorless, nearly catatonic drunk. I think he knows someone at the acedemy. With the exception of an 80s film called "Valley Girl," I've despised everything he's ever been in.

The worst film with Nicholas Cage was a horrid thing called "Kiss Of Death." To be fair, he wasn't the only one stinking up the screen in that one.

Godzilla(the one done a few years back). If I truly wanted to torture somebody, I'll make them watch it again and again. Also Mortal Combat 2. Amazing terrible.

How about Nicholas Cage in "Snake Eyes"?

He was so annoying in that.

Snake Eyes

I didn't see Snake Eyes. I now avoid any movie with Nicholas Cage like the Black Death.

Another really horrible film that I forgot to mention was "Happy Birthday To Me." Every once in awhile a movie comes along that's so bad, it's disturbing. This was one of them. It was also one of the grossest movies I've ever seen. Actually, "the grossest movies of all time" could probably be a whole new thread.

actually, a good Nicholas Cage movie was "Face Off" with John Travolta. i thought Cage and Travolta pulled off a very impressive performance. i highly recommend that movie.

now, in terms of worst movies. that Godzilla movie from 1998 was devastatingly horrible. Godzilla is an INDIVIDUAL, NOT a SPECIES. man, i was soooooo disappointed in that movie.

another one, and i dont know how many people saw this movie and i hope you NEVER do, is "Graffiti Bridge" with Prince. to this day, i have headaches of that movie. it never made any kind of sense to me. Prince must have been very, VERY high to make that one. i cant think of another movie worst than that one....

My kids somehow talked me into going to see "Kung Pow - Enter The Fist"

<GROAN>

Those are two hours I will never get back LOL

But they thought is was hilarious... go figure, that's teenage boy humor, I suppose

I think I'm the only person in the world who enjoyed the 1998 "Godzilla". I found it unintentionally very funny at points.

Another crappy one I thought of....."Housesitter" with Steve Martin, this was awful. Even if Goldie Hawn does say the word "tickle" at some point. And "Man of the House" with Chevy Chase. I hate these dramas that are billed as "comedies"

Without a doubt it has to be Meet the Deedles... it's supposed to be a spoof on the Muppets, but it's not funny at all and is surprisingly graphic and disturbing for a movie featuring puppets. Through most of it I thought I was going to be physically ill.

Folks, I walked out of the theatre traumatized.

Some other worthless pieces of dreck that come to mind are Last House On The Left, The Hills Have Eyes, The Burning (has a tickle scene), Born Losers (Billy Jack), Jaws 3D, all the Friday the 13th films (bar none), The Bride (Sting), Dune, and The Blair Witch Project (good idea, lousy movie).

The horror genre has provided some of the worst movies of our time. I like horror films, but when a horror film is bad, it is BAD!

Hey, if you can't sleep some night, check out "The Russia House." It's booorrrrring!!
