Would anybody care for a Ghostbusters 3?

With all the shit going on with Bill Murray versus everybody else. Do you think this project can carry-on, with or without the complete original cast?

Sure, the idea of passing, "down the torch", (like, the last Indiana Jones flick, was cute).

Should Murray continue being an ass, or cast a young actor, that follows in his footsteps?

I think they need to write Murray out, and get on with it.

I'm in the minority of my Ghostbuster loving friends.....but Bill Murray isn't funny. He's not a genius.
He's old. He's aged more than the others. His comedy has always been of the "I'm better than you, I'm so smart, I'm not only looking down on
the person sharing the screen with me, but I'm looking down on the audience watching as well. You all could only dream of being as
fantastic as the greatness that is me....." ...and I see that....while thinking the guy isn't funny.....at all.

Yet for some reason, it ALL hinges on Murray.

Enough already. They could have been making several Ghostbusters at this point. There was a cartoon series that introduced great enemies they could have faced, the Sandman being my favorite.

They need to take whoever wants to return, and either do it with them, or have their younger cast fight alongside the older guys, or whatever.

IDK it may end up being seriously frowned upon like Indiana Jones & The Kingdom of the Crytsal Skull, I enjoyed it, but I heard alot of people hated it. I will go see it becuz I'm a fan of the other 2.

I would watch. I thought the video game releases a year or so ago were to stir up interest for this. I had no idea Bill Murray was causing any difficulties with the production.

I'd go to see it if there was a third film but if it doesn't happen, the game they brought out a few years back serves well as a sequel.

No. I played the video game and it wasn't fantastic, but was fun and decent, and it had their voices, so I'm satisfied at that as a sequel. They're too old.

I for one, think that Bill Murray IS a genius and is still funny as hell. And I agree with him when he says "No one wants to see Ghostbusters with old men". Either remake it with a new cast or just let the idea rest and enjoy the 1984 classic on dvd.

Example: "Indiana Jones and the Crystal Skull", a 64 year old Harrison Ford lumbering tired thru scenes while we're treated to atrocities such as Shia Labiaf(or whatever his name is) being helped by monkeys, or standing on a moving jeep while fighting a girl standing on another moving jeep.......driving side by side!

I have ALWAYS wanted a Ghostbusters 3... but it's true, the current cast as their aged selves probably wouldn't be able to pull it off very well (not to say they can't pull off a miracle.) If they made a CG version with the voices of the original cast, that could work if done well...

If they decide to recast the entire thing with younger actors, it would be very hit-or-miss and would have to be absolutely awesome to get the majority of people on board. Would probably turn many people off simply because of the recasting, I bet. lol

I would go and see any Ghostbusters movie either way.
