Well , i watched wrestlemanis with afew friends last night. Not a bad ppv.At one point they showed Booker T walking down the corridor of the arena (to get to the ring for his match with The Boogeyman) with Shermal (sp) and he was noticing odd things going on around him...One in particular was SNITSKY LICKING THE BARE FEET OF MAE YOUNG!!!! Why couldn't it have been Maria..or Candice (who already is used to having her feet licked) OR ANY other diva??? oh the horror!..lol

spoilers...................................................................

Cant believe jon cena beat hhh!!!well maybe rvd will fight john cena some time in the future. Pretty good ppv over all.

He was licking Mae Young's feet because the whole point of the promo was to emphasize how weird all those guys are.

I too think HHH should have beat Cena (And I'm not just saying that because HHH is my favorite). Cena's popularity is waining with the crowds, though. HHH was the heel going into this, but he had his support from the fans. Triple H may not have won, but he sure did damage in another way and sure did put on an impressive performance and gave Cena a run for his money.

The thing is, John Cena has been a poser for too long. I think he needs to try a new gimmick. People like Triple H are more believable and genuine all the time because they don't rely on a strict image to be successful. Triple H doesn't have to act a certain way to make you love or hate him (or love to hate him). His character is very believable and it carries through in every nuance he approaches it with.

John Cena is a hip hopper, or rapper, or whatever. That can only take you so far. He's starting to get pathetic, like Scotty Too Hotty quickly did, and the long gone GrandMaster Sexy.

As for Rey Mysterio, to quote Randy Orton a while back- "you're just a charity case, Rey."

If it wasn't for the whole "tribute to Eddie" angle (which I feel has gotten out of control and is now dishonoring him), Rey wouldn't be in the situation he's in.

It's nice that they give the little guys and underdogs a push every now and then though.

I personally think it was good that Cena won the match. Not because I like Cena (that's far from the truth) but I mean it makes a great match builder. I think HHH will be really p*ssed about losing to Cena and start attacking him, fighting him, overall building up to a great match where HHH wins.

I also recon Mick Foley should've won the match because I personally like Foley and I can't bear to see the hardcore legend lose to a hardcore rookie (in my views) in a hardcore match. Just saddening.

But it's good to know the Undertaker is still going strong at 14-0. I mean, soon he will lose but for now it's fun to watch one of my favourite wrestlers still hold strong after almost 20 years in the biz! ^_^

I could never picture Rey Mysterio as a champion...for one the belt is almost as big as he is. Kurt Angle should've won. 😵

I never watched Wrestlemania because they only allowed it on WEBCAST here in the UK 🙂()...I just looked on the website. But I would've loved to watch it, especially the hall of fame inductions.

Oh, I didn't get to watch it either, but I saw the pictures and read the commentaries and what not.

Triple H is a good heel champion. He always has been. He's the perfect villian, and he's the guy everyone's got to beat to make a name for themselves since he's "that damn good!". LOL

The Game will want that belt more now than ever. Getting bested at Wrestlemania, or worse yet, tapping out, is something that haunts you for a while. Hopefully the Game will be back in the running for the belt again soon.

I'm glad Undertaker won, though I would have prefered he had been in the main event. If the rumors of him retiring after WM are true (maybe we'll find out on Smackdown later this week) it would have looked good if he could go out as champ. Beating Mark Henry takes some doing though, and it's another great notch in Taker's belt.

The question is/was is this his last Wreslemania?

I don't see Rey holding that belt for very long. Bastista will be back soon and he's going to want it. Rey winning is just a fluke to play on the whole "miracles do happen" theme. He'll lose that belt probably within the next few pay per views, or even more likely yet, he'll get screwed out of it.

EDIT:

As for Mick not winning, I felt this was going to happen. The whole theme behind this match is that Foley is practically retired and is he not in ring shape, yet he's not willing to backdown from a fight. This was more of a tribute to his past greatness than the continuity of it. Mick won the match morally, and thats what really counts. The dog still has bite, so to speak.

The idea that he may have scarred Edge for life (psychologically) is funny, though.

Maybe we won't have to wait long for Rey to drop the belt. He defends it against Orton this Friday on SmackDown.

The 'net rumor on RVD is that he will cash in the Money in the Bank to have a WWE title match at ECW One Night Stand in June.

didn't hhh tap out to benoit before? i guess that makes more sense though because benoit is probably one of the few greater and credible technical wrestlers aside from shelton and angle

True, but I actually think his winning will make a great story line. Now when Batista comes back he'll want the belt back, but he'll have to face one of his best friends in order to do it. That would be great (and hilarious) to see, Batista fighting someone who doesn't even seem heavyweight for the world heavyweight title.

I never knew there was a rumour that the dead man will retire... I actually think he looks stronger than ever (chokeslamming and tombstoning a 400lb guy is no easy feat). The Undertakers one of my fav wrestlers and one of the only few who still holds his gimmick. I'll miss him if he does go.

I see what you mean. It's just heartbreaking to see a man who, in his prime, was unbeatable in a hardcore match. It would've been great to see him win one more hardcore match before he left again. ^_^

Mark (Undertaker) has injuries, some of which are reoccuring. Most notably, from what I hear, he has bad knees. It would be better for him to retire and not tempt fate (especially when, as you put it, he's lifting 400 pounds around). He doesn't want his knees to blow and be a cripple.

His injuries are substancial enough for him to retire. Its how he would retire is what fans will want to know. He's not the type (in any of his personas) to give a farewell speech and get choked up. It will most probably end in a story line of some kind.

Oh yeah, I remember now.

He has some injuries like his bad knees and bad groinal area (reason why he goes through the rope and not over).

He's been fighting for so long that I completely forgot about that.

Yeah. People tend to forget that these guys are hurt and reinjure themselves all the time. We just never hear them complain or talk about it (unless its a gimmick or is legitimate, but is used in a plot point anyway).

Sometimes their body language in-ring can give away their injuries. But, you'd have to be paying attention to notice them.

One of the dangerous things about Wrestlemania inparticular is that all of the Superstars are compelled, pushed, and encouraged to put it all on the line and abandon their safety, and many of them do without hesitation (like Mark and Foley did). This leaves them wide open to reinjuring themselves because they know they want and have to impress the crowds. So injured people basically ignore their injuries, and it often complicates them and makes it worse, or it takes longer to heal.

Its for reasons like this that their injuries never get a fair chance to fully heal.

Yeah, it's like the Eddie Guerrero case.

Eddie died because his heart gave up on him, and one of the main reasons why this happened was the muscle toning drugs he took to keep up his physique and fitness just so he could go out and give it his all to impress the WWE and the crowds. But he ended up paying the ultimate price for the business.

I do realise that Eddies drug addiction over the previous years also contributed to this but I mean, the steroids and drugs couldn't have been helping.

But yeah, wrestlers sacrifice their welfare for the crowds and it must be taking it's toll on the undertaker.

Undertaker's problems have been accumulating over the years, like most wrestlers. Some people forget that sort of thing.

Triple H didn't win the title because: a)It was supposed to put Cena over...which we knew it wouldn't...b)because HHH doesn't really need the title anymore to be the man...and c)because he is about to be a Father for the 1st time and he wants time to spend with his family. If he wins the title, you know how that will play out. But Cena needs to become a serious heel to get popular again...but can you say R.V.D? and its about dang time!!!

As for Rey winning the title...we knew that was coming. But I dare anyone to say that he doesn't deserve to win it at least once for all he does. He has been the real show stealer for YEARS in every company he has been a part of. The miricles do happen angle is good for a short period, but it will phase out. I don't think it will be Batista beating him for the title. It will probably be Orton at the next PPV. I think Batista will decimate Mark Henry first for revenge and then crush Orton to regain the title. Let's face it, no one on Smackdown can be Batista.....except for a certain "Undertaker"...but he doesn't need a title belt anymore either. 😱)

I personally am starting to like this McMahon/Michaels feud...reminds me of the days of Austin and McMahon. What's good about this is that the WWE needs a feud between a primo wrestler and the boss, as that might make fans more interested and it was sorely needed. I didn't find this Wrestlemania to be that good...then again I did go to Toronto to see Wrestlemania there and nothing compares to that. 😉

"Well, you know how the saying goes Vince! "Its better to be pissed off, then pissed on!"- Shawn Michaels (as he throws a bottle of his urine on Vince)

LOL! Come on now, he had to take a urine drug test? McMahon must really hate him. 😀

Mr. McMahon is pretty pumped though! He's in great shape for a man his age, and he's bulkier than Michaels!

I know! XD

Man, I miss the old days.

'97 - 00' were the best years in my opinion. 😀

I know

I was talking to an old friend recently about it (we were major wwe fans in university) and we were talking about how much it changed. Stuff like gimmicks, championships and champions.

Smackdown Spoiler:

Rey Mysterio successfully retains his title against Randy Orton.

Randy Orton has been suspended by the WWE for 60 days for unprofessional conduct.
