OK, that's not the most exciting announcement in the world. In fact, it's pretty damn dull. But enough folks have been pressing for it recently so we added it to our site. Now orders can be completed through Paypal, the internet's #1 blah blah blah.

OK, for those that suffered through the administrative nightmare that was the proceeding paragraph, I have something that might be of interest. It is massively spoilerific, which I tend to avoid like the plague. But rules are meant to be broken. Even though The Agencies #17 will have its own thread soon enough, I did want to post this pinup here as a thanks to anyone that actually opened up this thread based on such a dull headline. It shows a certain sense of bravado and an adventurous spirit.

So yes, this is:
  • Shroud getting tickled.
  • With no shirt on.
  • In a sheer, black bra.
  • By Agent Starlight.
  • In public.
  • Featuring our brand new colorist to the series, Patricia. She's been working with us for awhile now and we're really impressed with her abilities. It takes this series honestly to an entirely new level. She's just crazy talented.
  • Hot off the presses. Just received this today; it may not even be the production copy if there are further changes to the artwork.

Are you sure Paypal is safe? I mean for you, not the customers. See, I used it several years ago, back when I only sold physical videos (like VHS tapes). But in 2004 they shut down my account without warning because they decided the content of my website was inappropriate, as in too racy. People who are familiar with my work know that it's very tame as far as fetish stuff goes. But apparently it was enough to justify getting rid of me, as if I were a hardcore pornographer. They even froze the money I had left in my account (a few hundred dollars) for 6 months before they allowed me access to it again.

Then again, it's been many years since I've used Paypal for anything, either as a vendors or a customer, so I don't know if they've changed their policies since then. Maybe they've relaxed a bit about stuff that's somewhat adult-related, at least the softer stuff? So maybe it's fine now, I don't know.

They have changed their AUP recently. After I received several requests in the last couple months and went back and reviewed with legal. The AUP now follows a 7 point guideline to determine whether the products in question are acceptable. Because those guidelines tend to follow US legal definitions of what constitutes pornography, I could easily rebut each point since what we do isn't pornography from a legal definition.

But you are absolutely right. In dealing with Paypal, I'm not dealing with attorneys, I'm dealing with managers whose approach is capricious to such matters. So I take the necessary precautions to ensure such a contingency is merely an annoyance and not catastrophic to our continuation.

I'm glad that they seem to have relaxed their policies somewhat. And since you're offering Paypal as an additional payment option for your customers, and not as a replacement, you'll be just fine whatever happens. I mean, you'll never have to rely on Paypal the same was I did before they closed my account. Also, l have to admit that, putting aside Paypal's history of not always being fair with some of their own customers (i.e. the vendors using their services), it is a very convenient and popular service. It's no wonder you got a lot of feedback from people suggesting that you offer it. A very good move on your part, I'd say.

We'll see how it goes. I believe our position is a sound one, but that hasn't mattered in the past so who knows. I remember having to deal with these kinds of issues back in the mid 90s when AOL would keep erasing all our Tickle Central files (as the site was known as back then, no affiliation with the current producer) on an annual basis. Highly annoying, and I always hoped those kinds of issues would go away over time. Turns out...not so much, they just morph into other issues.

Sorry to hear you guys got zapped in recent years. That's a highly annoying thing to deal with.
