Thanks for the kind words.

When I first began scripting this issue, I was thinking it was definitely time to move on from Candace. She'd been the focus for a couple of issue now (more or less) and I thought readers might get bored with her. "Always leave them wanting more," as the old saying goes. But Oblesklk wanted the spotlight on the commander for a bit longer, and reader response had also been positive. We'd even had requested for more Candace. So I obliged and I'm very happy to have done so. Yurihausen's work is, as always, extraordinary. I can't imagine this issue not existing in the story now. So my thanks to Oblesklk, the readers, and Yurihausen for everything they've done t make this entry in the series a reality. I hope our readers enjoy it!

If this is indeed Candace's final moment in the spotlight, my gosh what a final act, submitting herself as an ultraticklish distraction in what is always a most noble act as ship's captain. 🙂 Well, from the summary anyway. Gonna have to save a bit from the next coming paychecks to see exactly how this goes down!

Hunted #7 doesn't mess around or pull punches. Its action starts immediately and never relents until the very end. Candace is going to a bad, bad place with Hera, and is powerless to stop it. The first two panels shows Candace begging, through laughter, for Hera to stop. And Hera responds that she has no indication whatsoever of letting up. It's a chilling piece, in a way, to think an AI which lacks any ability to tire of its pursuits would have it in for Candace.

But chilling, we hope, in a good way 🙂
