If I remember correctly, they were both taking a bath (duh) after a battle of some sort, (don't yell at me, it was a LONG time ago) and were helping each other bath. I believe that Gabriel did indeed laugh, or at least, giggle when Xena cleaned her foot.

Don't remember much about the episode itself, though.
