Sorry guys, what you are actually doing is making fun of somebody speaking a different language. Do you think this will be an invitiation for our French or other international members to show up again? Not very thoughtful of you.

I realize well that this Forum's language is English. But it should be possible for international members to greet their own people in a different language without getting ridiculed by you. Okay?

Hey, Hal. Your comment is well taken. I did think twice about my post, and perhaps should not have been so flippant.

Badoux, if I offended in any way, please accept my sincere apology. My intention was lighthearted, though perhaps a bit insensitive. However, I do believe that all of the comments posted were meant in the same lighthearted manner -- think us silly, even foolish, but I hope not unfriendly.

One more thing, to Dave: I've been enjoying your rotating tag-lines. If you don't mind some unsolicited advice, the grasshopper joke is funnier if you make his name Fred. (Don't ask me why...it's just one of those things a bunch of us figured out one night after several bong hits of the chronic -- yes, we actually discussed which name made that joke funniest! The guy who told it originally used "Dennis," which wasn't funny at all...)
