Ok, another lowly Mets fan here, simply stating several items. Yes, I am a guy from the Bronx who likes the Mets. Yes, I appreciate the fact that the Yankees are a great team, but could you all just SHUT UP for a while! Jeez... the poor Yankees have played, like, THREE games this year that they didn't win? "What's wrong? Who should be fired for this? When is old Steiny gonna come to his senses and sign EVERY PLAYER IN BASEBALL?" I mean come on, get a grip on reality. :fight:

I really hate being a responsible Mod. I wanted to change the title of the thread to : "Yankess Get Lucky As Mets Self Destruct Thanks To Armando I Can'T Hit The Side Of A Goddam Barn Helps Out AGAIN!!!"

I have come to believe that he actually IS on the Yankees payroll in some from or another. All other theories fail to explain the actions of a theoretical major league closer. Please note that we traded for one of the best prospective closers in baseballs minor league system. Although I hate to get hopeful, it may actually be a sign that the day of the Armless Armando is drawing to a close at last...

The series should have been 4-2 this year without idiocy and blatant nonsense. Still not where I'd like it, but it would have been bearable to visit the gym. Tough living in what is generally considered Yankee country at the moment. Q

When will anyone realize that Armondo cannot beat the Yankees,Braves, or a decent minor league team for that matter!?
The ONLY thing Armondo can beat is himself as he collects his paycheck for NOT doing his job.
