It seems the vast majority of "Human shields" who travelled to Baghdad are throwing the towell in, they have discovered that its "a very dangerous place" and many of them are "very frightened" (no shit sherlock???!!!) also the Iraq regime are "using" them and have been asking them to act as human shields at sites which are very likely to be bombed, the "Human shields" apparently favoured places such as orphanages, grain silos and water treatment plants, but it seems the Iraqis have other plans for them and have told them that they either go to the sites specified by them or they must leave. Just how do people achieve this level of gullible naivety? it makes you wonder how they managed to get there at all, i would be afraid to let any of them cross the road without a responsible adult in attendance.

It never ceases to amaze me how much of a "rationalizing" creature we (the human species) are. Whatever side of this conflict you may favor, you really have to admit that the process of justifying actions is quite incredible on both extremes. We'll never get to another galaxy at this rate....sigh. Q

In the first place, I have no sympathy for anybody who would volunteer to work in Saddam's interest for any reason. At best, they are gullible dupes, too foolish to see that they are being used by an evil regime.

So, from your report, it turns out that they wanted to have the smug feeling of moral superiority without any risk, did they? It turns out that they will go home rather than actually risk their lives in suport of their professed beliefs, does it? I can only say that I am not surprised by their cowardice.

Ok, who's with me here? I think we should block their escape from Iraq!!!! They came in their little double decker buses, well, poo poo on them, hehe. Let em sweat a little, prevent their crossing the border for another week, just to show them just how dumb of an idea protected the Iraqi regime is!
-Granted, had I been an Iraqi citizen I wouldve snatched their bus and made a run out of the country weeks ago!
