Your musical guilty pleasures?

I'm curious, what are people's guilty pleasures on here in regards to music? Songs or artists you love but would be kinda embarrassed to admit to liking if it came up on the radio or at a party etc.

Mine are mostly from the 80s. I just love 'Take On Me' to bits 😀 Somehow it slipped under my childhood radar and I only properly heard the song after leaving school. That's a good thing...I guess?? A-ha's later albums are really stellar too.


Another is Cyndi Lauper's 'Girls Just Want to Have Fun'. Don't know if it's weird for a guy to like this song 😛 but it's just such a fun song. 😀


So what are yours? Even if it's Bieber... 😛

I love music from the 50's through the 80's rock n roll, heavy metal, Motown R&B soft rock and other genre's of that era but hip hop I never really adapted a liking for

Couldn't agree more regarding the Cyndi Lauper tune! It's one of those songs which, as a fella, if you were to play it in front of your mates, they'd probably assume you were joking, just cos of the lyrics lol. I think it's a fantastic song. Love that funky guitar riff!

Even though ABBA have become a little more fashionable in recent years, I think there are still plenty of people who can't quite get over their image lol. I got a Best Of album from a charity shop a few months ago... Ok, some of it wasn't so great lol. But their best stuff is so frickin' good. S.O.S. has become one of my favourite ever songs, I think. The harmonies are practically orgasmic lol.
