Time to dream about another year of tickling fun.
Since I've chronicled most of my exploits in 2012 already, it's good enough just to ponder next year's goals. And in case you're wondering, I do have another daily vanilla blog where I post vanilla goals... so these are just a part of who I am. 🙂
One goal that could make practical sense for someone who likes to play as much as me, but doesn't make the list yet is going to a gathering. I enjoy going out with small (2-6) groups of friends, but not larger groups of strangers, even in vanilla life. I'm thankful that there are locals who take the time to organize them, because things could always change.
Last year I commented on FetLife's usefulness in meeting new friends, and it's true that I have generally found FL to be more searchable by location than TMF (noting also with some pride the role I played in getting a TMF member map installed in the Personals section though). This year I've spent probably 90% or more of my time on TMF though, since the pure tickling discussion is so easy to find. I will say I've made some significant new friendships through both FL and TMF this year, so both sites will continue to stay high on my list.
So, a few goals. Hmm.
I'd like to continue averaging one post/blog entry per day. I was right on pace through December and then launched past the 400 mark for the year. I didn't really expect to do 25 blog posts, so that was a surprise.
I'm dropping the one about friend requests from last year. No need to force things as long as I'm enjoying conversation.
I'm going to try to be in another tickling video. The first one was fun, and the thought of it helps keep me in shape. Last year there were two lers, this year maybe there will be three. But one is plenty. I'm not that picky. 🙂
This last one's got to be a wish because it's dependent on others' calendars: To get down to Florida for a tickling session. I think I'd be a good lee for one of JW Ties lers, for example. I also really enjoyed my Midwest long-driving tour last April, and I am glad to drive just about anywhere in the Midwest (or into the South) to meet up with the right person/people.
