So about 5:30 this morning I'm headed west on Anderson Lane, near the starting point of my route.
Approaching an intersection, I see a car on the cross street just sitting there with no lights on. Broke down, I thought.
As I pull up to the red light, an APD car pulls up behind the car, and a DPS (highway patrol) car and another APD car come out of nowhere and stop in front of him.
They all jump out with their guns already drawn and point them at the car. Now I'm thinking holy crap, I hope this light turns green before lead starts flying.
Just as the light turns I see two hands sticking out the drivers window so I guess the guy gave up without a fight. I'll see if this makes the local news but I doubt it will unless this guy was wanted for something serious.
