Austin, and the state of Texas, lost one of our treasures August 31 when Richard "Cactus" Pryor died at 88. Cactus has been a beloved figure here for decades, and our city is a lesser place with his passing. I've been enjoying his wit and humor since the 1980's. R.I.P. Cactus, you will be sorely missed.
