I haven't written anything for years, but in the interest of transparency, feel that this is important. I had debated whether or not to post this in the main forum, but will keep this here for now and operate on a want to know basis for anyone who would appreciate the information. This is intended to help prevent anyone else from making the same mistake that I did.
Before Backpage shut down its adult section, I met a professional on there who offers foot and tickle fetish sessions, seeming to operate mostly in Maryland, DC, Virginia and Pennsylvania. This person has worked with photographers and video producers, some of whom post on this very site. I do not know if this person has her own profile here, but as a seasoned professional, I deemed her trustworthy when we met and chatted. I was wrong.
I paid this person for a session that extended a bit past 2 hours but was only given 1 due to a scheduling error on her part. However, we discussed my coming back, having the complete session and even taking photos, both for her modeling portfolio and my fledgling photography interests since she had already been compensated. This was acceptable to me and I went on my merry way when our initial meeting concluded. When I attempted to confirm a follow-up, this person went extremely silent and, to this day, I have yet to see a return on my investment. In short, my money was stolen and I'm the trusting idiot that gave it to her. Lesson learned! I did recently hear back from this person, but in a nasty way, lauding her ethics and years of experience, yet still offering zero solution to our issue.
Again, it is my hope that no one else makes the mistake that I did. I will not name this person in this journal, but will make said information available to anyone who contacts me privately. This type of thing should not be tolerated in our community and casts doubt upon the good and ethical providers out there, of which there are many! One bad seed shouldn't ruin that, but should be discussed.
