This is going to be an entry of praise, and one to admit I was wrong, and to apologize if I sounded.. offensive. '
I know that I made a rather.. derisive post in the main forum, about my review class teacher at Aflac, Ed. Such was wrong of me.
The fact is.. as a man, and for a career, I respect and admire Ed about as much as anyone in the world.
if I haven't mentioned it before.. Ed is not only an insurance agent.. but is also a lawyer.
He tells his students in every class that we must have malpractice insurance.
Ed was an insurance agent, before he was a lawyer, and.. talks to the time he got sued as a young insurance agent, and how that incident.. caused him to persue a career in law.
I know that in order to do so, I would have to go to law school at night, but,, assuming God willing I can get the additional two points I need, to become an insurance agent.. once I establish myself at an insurance company, I'm going to investigate going to law school at night, and specializing in some form of insurance law, be it medical malpractice.. or other insurance law.
Ed and I have this ongoing.. dialogue. When I attend his classes, he asks questions, and.. when he asks for answers, he always tells me to shut up, because, he knows that 99% of the time, I know the answer to the question he's asking.
The fact is, except for being from different sects of Judaism, I would love if, when I was his age.. (Ed is in his late 60s) I could be just like Ed.
