After posting the rant about my family. it turned out I was absolutely wrong. What did turn out to be right, was my reaction about Barney.
I decided to take the high road, and send my dad an explanation/accountability e-mail earlier tonight. I basically apologized for my actions, saying that I understood by his asking how the studying was.. that he wasn't pressuring me. He called me, and graciously accepted, saying that he understands the stress I'm under, and that he appreciated how I took responsibility for my actions. After I got off the phone with him, I called my aunt the artist to apologize as well. She also accepted. So fine, family issues settled. Barney is a different story.
When I called him to try and smooth things over.. he was anything but understanding. He was extremely stand off ish, acting like he was better than me, and informed me that he had no time to see me at all this weekend. He then shooed me off the phone. Fine, let him be that way. This, from someone, who runs the friendship all his way. Soo.. I'm going to stay around Forest Hills and maybe do some light work tomorrow, and then go to the casino myself on Saturday. My dad and I agreed to see each other on Sunday. As for Barney, let him be that way. It seems like this "Friendship" is a one way road. My realtives, and my friend Adam, don't like him at all. i',m beginning to see their point.
I was advised by the Aflac people to take a day off from studying. That day will be Saturday., They can log into my profile, and see how hard I've been working.
