After six long months,
Acqeuduct Casino finally reopened at noon today.
As tempting as it is to.. jump in a cab, go , and spin a slot, or place a bet on a horse.
I know that considering the extreme dangers of Covid 19.
I have to control myself, for safety sake. and that I cannot go.
One of my friends said to me today.
"Mitch, if I were you, I would not go"
My Id , the pleasure principle, is like.
"To hell with this, jump in a cab this Saturday, wear a mask, wear gloves, and go. "
The rational part of me, says.
"For a couple of hours of fun, the risk is not worth it"
Even if I wear a mask, and gloves.
Even with "Social Distancing" and "Crowd Control"
How do I know who I might be sitting near, or who might have touched a slot machine, or an automatic horse bet machine. who might have Covid?
No.
As I have for six months when it was really closed,
I'm just going to have to pretend its not open.
I hope that somehow a vaccine will be found, or something will happen, so that I can go not long off.
