In an attempt to increase my self-awareness I've decided to embark on a mission to figure out if I am more influenced by the little angel on my shoulder or the little devil.
My plan is to blog daily (or as close to daily as possible) and see if my day was more influenced by my angel or my devil, overall.
Today I was a lazy mother fucker times a bajillion. My first AVD moment was when it came time to leave NH to come home. I promised myself I was going to leave by 8am at the latest, but laziness and a strong aversion to leaving some of the people I love most caused me to dilly dally until almost 9am
AVD moment numero dos was when I decided that instead of going right to work when I got home, which would allow me to begin a decent sleep schedule that would fit well with my new job I'm starting tomorrow...I was going to switch shifts with the 3rd shift woman so that I could go home and get changed and relax with my kitty for the evening. This fucks up my sleeping in a serious way. I began a 25 hour shift at 11pm this evening. I suck at life.
Last but not least, in the interest of not blowing money on stupid shit and giving my poor body a rest from all the ridiculously shitty food I ingested this weekend (and by shitty I mean bad for you - not tasting bad. It was all extremely yum.) I decided to eat something that I already had at home that was light and easy on my insides. Instead I chose to spend money on BojanglesX2. (I couldn't even enjoy it. So greasy...so gross.)
So yeah -- today was a devil day. Hopefully tomorrow I'll make better choices.
