On Friday, we had another incident with my Dad.
I called him Friday morning, and he did not answer the phone.
I figured , okay, bathroom, bath, maybe Dr's appt.
It turned out, that my Dad had a very serious fall in his apartment.
My Dad has an aide helping him and his wife in their apartment.
Without getting into details, let's just say that he hurt himself badly after the fall.
I begged him to go to the ER but he said no.
Several hours later, I called him back. I said "Dad, maybe you should go to the ER" He again said no, and that he was just resting.
I keep my phone on 24-7 for obvious reasons. Knock on wood, its 10-12 hours later, and I have heard nothing.
Hopefully God Willing that means he is hopefully at least resting.
The poor man has been through the worst hell with his health this year.
We, his family are suffering right around with him, watching him go through this hell.
I know that all I can do is to be there for him anytime he needs me
Sigh! I wish things would calm down already
At my Dad's age (82 now) I know that anything can happen at any time, and that we just have to take things one day at a time.
