So in a previous post, I discussed the need for men to be alone, to have "mantime" as it were. Ms. Annie Hall suggested that it was something for all people, and not just men, and I would have to agree after pondering it further.
However. . .
I just spent a wonderful afternoon with the missus. Relaxed, enjoyed each other's company, it was great. Then, at her suggestion, we retreated to our separate corners for some alone time.
Except she keeps talking to me.
She's watching some losing weight show, and keeps calling me into the living room to see whats happening.
Now, I think everything my lady says is important, so I keep trudging out there to comment on how amazing so and so looks after dropping 60 pounds.
But, this is supposed to be alone time. Which, by definition, means I am by myself.
So, ladies, does alone time mean being alone until you need us, or is this not really alone time?
