Today is eleven years since my beloved mother left me.
It could be because my Aunt, my second mother. just passed away in late January.
It could be because my favorite newscaster, Jim Gardner , retired in December 2022.
It could be, because, after so many years of my weight being under control, when I was so stunned to learn that weight had gone back up in November 2022, and then last week, my internist reported that it was not any better. in spite of my making major changes in my diet, such as giving up all cookies, cake, and pie, and basically giving up Asian food cold turkey, except for very rare occasions.,
Today is hitting me, very, very hard, for some reason, more so than any anniversary of my mother's passing, except probably the first one, ten years ago.
I will just get through today, and then tomorrow it will be over.
I'm hoping that it will just be a quiet, uneventful day,
Except, maybe for Ross the marketing guy. I might have a few unexpected things happen to him today, depending on my mood
