So I got my septum pierced today randomly. I've been wanting it for a while now. I had them put a metal retainer in so I can easily flip it up when I'm at work. That way, no one can even tell I have it and I won't have to take it out.
The boyfriend said it was a waste of money and even though he hasn't seen it, he said it's ugly and I have such a beautiful face, yadda yadda yadda. I know some other people are going to say the same thing, but in my defense:
1. It's temporary. It's a tiny hole and if I decide I don't like it, I can take it out and no one will be the wiser that I ever even had it.
2. It's easily hidden for work.
3. The piece I have in now is temporary. I plan to get a very tiny hoop once it heals.
I know people are going to say I look like a bull, but whatever. I am a walking fishing accident.

PS. I'm 21. I am allowed to do stuff like this once in a while. Pretty soon it's going to be all mortgages and mammograms.
