Back in my regular computer lab at USI. 🙁
Brit Lit has been a pretty boring class, surprisingly enough. We're mostly reading about Arthurian legends, but we're not even discussing the actual stories in class. I love history and all, but there's no need for the professor to go on and on about life in the medieval era. D: Metaphors, allegory, themes, character development...I want all of that! If I want medieval history, I want to learn it in a history class! Oy vey.
But I do love the history class I'm taking now. Not only because the subjects are really fascinating, but the teacher is really gorgeous.
: And I just love how she has such passion for her area of expertise. The way she lectures is soooo captivating and energetic. In most of the history classes I took before college, I would almost always come close to falling asleep. lol Mostly because all we'd do in class was take notes and maybe watch a dry TV special. It was torture.
Math has been OK so far. Still pretty dull, though. But the professor is certainly not as bad as Special K, math Nazi extraordinaire that I had for the second half of my last semester. I really can't wait to take foreign language classes. At IU, 4 years of a foreign language is required and I don't mind taking them one bit. 😀 In fact, I've been thinking about majoring in foreign languages lately. The only problem is that I don't know if such professors are in high demand...it doesn't seem like they are. I do know that Spanish professors have a better job outlook than all the others, though. But I'm just not into Spanish as I am into German, Japanese, or possibly Italian. I want to follow my dreams, but the job market just gets in the way. >.> Such is life, right? And history would be really fun to major in, as well...but again, that type of professor just isn't in as much demand as math, science, or even English professors. I know I'll have all this figured out eventually as I'm still very much a n00b. XD It just feels good to vent. lol 😀
