Oh wow, I really am getting God-awful at updating this blog. But you really can't blame me what with homework and college activities and whatnot. 😛
Okay, so I just joined this group called Bloomington Kink and the first meeting of the month was a Munch at this local restaurant. Going in, I didn't keep my hopes up because everytime I do, I'm usually disappointed. But this time was different. This time I met more awesome people than I ever thought possible! During group introductions, we had to state what brought us to the group (what we're into, etc.) and since I was a newcomer, I was too nervous to even say the word "tickling" out loud. I knew they'd be cool with it and all, but still...I have trouble opening up to new people, no matter how awesome and accepting I think they are.
But all in due time. Anyway, it felt really nice to be part of a group. True, I am a part of the LGBT groups on campus, but this one felt special to me. It's hard to explain really. A group of them even invited me to walk to this ice cream shop. 😀 It felt kinda weird being the shortest one of the crowd, though. 😵 I was walking with 2 guys and 3 girls and all of them were taller than me. -___- I could hardly keep up with their fast walking to. One of the guys of the group even said, "Hey, we're leaving the short one behind!" Strange because most of the girls I see around campus are basically bite-size and they make me feel like a frickin' giant!
OH, and one of the girls of the group (whose name is also Amanda) invited me to play billiards with her after the meeting. And then after that, we walked to the fountain and had great conversation the whole night. She is really is one of the friendliest girls I've met in a long while. 😀 I just hope this one sticks. I hate becoming attached to someone only to find that they're moving to a new town or something...and I'll hardly ever see them again. That seems to happen to me a lot. =(
Hah, it's funny. I talked to that girl for a long time and yet I still wasn't able to tell her what my fetish is! XD This stuff is just so new to me, I guess. I haven't really told anyone about my kink outside the forum. When I do tell her, she'll be the first offline person to know...
To sum it up: kinky people are awesome! : It's funny because had I not joined this forum, I wouldn't even have been open to the idea of joining a kink/fetish group. Before I came here, I was a bit scared of the BDSM folks but since there are so many of them on this forum, I've realized that they're just normal people. Heck, everyone has at least one thing deviant about them. 🙂
OH, but there's more that I've been up to! Last Wednesday, I saw this amazingly funny LGBT-themed movie called "But I'm a Cheerleader". Hilarious! 😀 And I've also been hanging out with my new lezzie friend from Kazakhstan. She's as sweet as can be.
Aw yeah. And I saw "Toy Story 3" with one of the campus gay groups. It was weird walking out of the auditorium with some of them. For once, I found myself to be the racial minority and it was a GREAT feeling! We could've been, like, the poster-children for diversity! LOL
But yeah, things have goin' great and they've only just begun! I have a feeling that even more good times are in my future. And as Andy Warhold once said: "I really do live for the future, because when I'm eating a box of candy, I can't wait to taste the last piece." 😉
I shall leave you with a short clip from the movie "Eurotrip" on the importance of safe words. Starring the lovely Lucy Lawless! :

Now off to work on my creative writing assignment where I have to combine story elements from Super Mario Brothers and Star Wars!
