Right so, first things first, there are certain TMF members who I've let down in various ways over the last few weeks. Whether it be not getting to the Silly Stuff Forum as often as I can, not being able to honour my commitment when it comes to co-writing stories, and more importantly, not being able to chat to my friends here as much as I should. I'm not trying to ignore anyone, or duck my responsibilities; I just have more pressing issues to deal with right now. It's busy season in college, and I've got pretty much non-stop essays and various other projects to deal with.
Another small apology I have to make is this: I know I said I’d publish the next part of ‘Maid to Please’, and for anyone who has been waiting on it, I know, I’m an ass and I should have had it finished a long time ago. I’ve just been swamped, and as soon as I have the time to edit it, I’ll throw it up. I would put it up now, but I’m just not happy with it.
Now on to the good news! Firstly, all my hard work… well some of my hard work has paid off! I came through an absolute nightmare of an essay with a more than acceptable grade that is really going to help me keep my GPA up, and my degree on course; celebrations all around on that one. Unfortunately, this come with a little down side, I still can’t find a job! I love that I can actually blame the economy for me being a lazy bum! Hurray!
Right, moving on to the next little portion of good news. I’ve been worried that I may have pulled my glute, turns out it was just a bruise. This is a good thing! So instead of being out of action for the rest of the season, I was able to play a match on Sunday, and not come off too broken! Now we’re all just looking on to the league final this Thursday, and may god help anyone who gets in our way!
Speaking of rugby, I’ve come to an agreement with one of my mates on the team, who has a similar haircut… or lack-their-of, as mine. We have both agreed to not cut our hair or shave until we win the cup. Yes, I know, it’s awfully arrogant assuming we’re going to win the cup, considering that we’re only into the semis right now, but it’s a little extra motivation! The down shot is, if we don’t win, we’re going to have to wait for more than a year to get a haircut! Umm… methinks we may have to amend this clause!
Exams are coming up, a few more essays, then summer; sun, sand and… who am I kidding? I live in Ireland; it’ll be rain, rain and more rain! It’s a good thing I love the rain! Anyway, that’s about all I have to say for now, thanks for reading, stay cool and other corny ‘sign offs’.
