While our conversations usually play off our latent irish rooted wit, I cannot deny the power in your musing. Perhaps this is lost on most people, but to see someone of my own heart, with the same desires and aspirations being crushed under the unflinching boot of circumstance forces my soul to weep.

This response is Whitman-esque; my feeling for you hinging on my personal ruminations. I take much for granted in my academic life, the paper writing and the research chief among them. I love literature, love to study it, to find the layers and discover and take part in a discourse. You should be with us, in the conversation. Too many people get the opportunity and waste it, bastardize it.
