... for always being dirty. There's no such thing as CLEAN LAUNDRY. Once you wash your dirty laundry, it becomes clothes, or sheets, or 4 year old tennis shoes that you've been meaning to throw out but can't bear the thought of wasting them. One can air out their dirty laundry, or have it aired out, but all that really makes is a stink. You're still stuck with the dirty laundry.
I tried airing out my dirty shirt this morning by scrubbing the stain on it and taping it to the antenna of my car to dry. Then it started to rain (of course then all I can think about is "DAMN, why didn't I just roll it up in the window so I could grab it if I need to.) While I'm freaking out about having a wet shirt, the tape becomes soggy and there goes my shirt. I watched it, humorous as it was, sail right into the back of a truck behind me, half hanging on the tailgate.
Moral of the story, if you air out your dirty laundry, it's bound to become someone else's problem. FUCK YOU, laundry...
I think I heard the dryer buzz, finally. Seriously, I gotta be back at work in 5 hours.
