Very productive day. Got Christmas Bonus and paycheck early, wasn't expecting it until Monday. I love direct deposit, especially when it goes in early. 
Spent the afternoon with Miss Lee (she gave me the option of painting my new cage at home, or going with her to do some errands. DUH!
Then we went downtown Nashua and met up with a good friend of ours for dinner and drinks. It'd been awhile since we've hung out with her, and it was a ton of fun. I had a slight downer when remembering that my unbearable boss returns from maternity leave in like two weeks, though. And my weekend with Miss Lee was coming to an end, since she'll be gone all day tomorrow. Then it's back to the grind on Monday, and my interim manager scheduled a meeting for Monday mornings, so I've got to be there for 9:30. Normally I arrive at 10. Boston traffic is shit, so I'm going to get there for 7:30, otherwise I can plan on sitting my happy ass in traffic for 2+ hours.
Anyway, I freecycled a ton of stuff today, picked up a crapload of books for my mom (free on Craigslist, woooot!), and tomorrow I am doing a bunch of Christmas shopping with my friend Jen. I'm excited. But I still wish this weekend was not over. While I love long breaks from work, I have such a hard time getting back to the grind. I'm not sure why. I've always done best on a pretty strict schedule. Ah well. Tomorrow it's straight to bed after Family Guy!
