My mom was supposed to have a scan tomorrow, before which she was going to have to drink a horrible mixture of liquid. Today she woke up feeling sick to her stomach, from what she says is mucus dripping into the stomach, and she decided to postpone the test for a week. I'm concerned that she decided to postpone the test, because the sooner she gets all the tests back, and can begin treatment, the faster she can begin to fight this. Luckily, her appetite is still okay, and she's not exhibiting any other symptoms. The drinking of the horrible mixture, and the next test, are scheduled for Thursday, April 15.
Anyhow, just wanted to post the latest. Hopefully nothing further will occur between now and the next test.
