Go ahead and say something about it, he'll probably be relieved that you could talk about it and deal with such awkwardness, rather than to retreat from it. People like when they are approached by someone else. At least I hope so, because otherwise I'm in trouble for giving you advice on your blog when you didn't really want it.

he probably wishes he had a loving community of like-minded individuals who he could vent to, and since he probably doesn't, it would make it all the better to power past this rather than ignore it.

Just to be on the clear, so you feel like there's not really much to do about it now? If that's the case, then that's unfortunate of course, but keep in mind that while it is only natural that you want a boyfriend you shouldn't go get just any guy for the sake of having one.

If you give this fellow another chance then I don't know, maybe there are things the two of you need to work through so it doesn't become awkward again. If you wish to move on, then I wish you the best of luck in finding the right one on your next attempt. Don't give up! 🙂

just means those folks up there at the art school are clueless.
Like its been said, don't let you desire to fill that gap make you drop your standards for a guy that isn't worth your time.

I have no doubt in my mind that you'll find the right guy for u in no time, just go out there and meet people till he ends up pursing you.
