I have never tickled anyone with a feather. I don’t have any feathers. my mom always said not to pick feathers up because they were probably dirty or infected or something. now I never had a problem worrying about the germs on my hands, because I’m a clean guy and I know when to wash my hands. the thing is, I would never touch anyone with something that I didn’t know was safe. so I think we’re pretty clear on me not having a feather.
but still, I saw a clip here today with the tickle getting worked over by a feather. I realized that it was working pretty well on the ‘lee in this instance, whereas sometimes fingers and other things work better. so I thought to myself, I need to get one! but I realized that I would need to find one that wasn’t just lying on the street. I also realized that not only is there a difference between ‘lees, but also different spots. feathers, as far as I have seen, are effective in only the most sensitive of spots, most frequently seen with feet. since I’m not really a feet guy, I’m not going to go out of my way to find one. then again, I am going to a large tickling gathering in about a month, so maybe I can find one there without much effort.
so thanks for reading this long train of thought process about how I am indecisive and lazy. let me know if you think it’s worth it for a tickler to have, or if talent overrides the tools.
