This pretty much sums up my feelings about my own mother, I can certainly relate, although the relationship you have is far different from mine.

I'm not really sure what else I can say... Perhaps you will be able to do something about this in the future. At least I hope so.

Until recently, I felt in the same (or similar, at least) way about my dad. We never saw eye-to-eye, we never had heart-to-heart conversations, etc.

Things have gotten better recently. A lot better. It mostly takes time and perseverence from both parties.

I can certainly relate too for me its my enter family its not just one or 2 its the dynamics we all have its not bas but it is not good i am the black sheep in my famly like you are in yours.
I am a child of divorced parents ... that's definitely not the Orly thing that has happened to me at all believe me!!!!
