An acquaintance of mine has gone through a tough break-up a few weeks back. Her boyfriend of four years broke up with her because he didn't love her anymore. It wouldn't be so bad if it was only that, but since the break-up, he's been a real douchebag. He's caused her nothing but trouble, insulting her and threatening her over text messages. It has also come out that he had been cheating on her for nearly a year with a woman who has now become his girlfriend.
His behavior has really shocked a lot of people who know him. Never in a million years would I have thought he was capable of the crap he has pulled. He had everyone fooled. I had thought I'd remain friends with him after their breakup, but after the way he's treated my coworker and her daughter, nope, he's not someone I want to be friends with. It boggles my mind how he can treat this little girl who had called him dad like she doesn't matter anymore, not even willing to try and stay apart of her life.
No, he's seems hellbent on destroying everything from that relationship. It is so ridiculous and disappointing. There are so few good guys out there in this world and I thought he was one of those few, but he's not. Just another selfish coward.
