I thought it better to move this topic here rather than post further in general discussion.
Mom has been released from the hospital and returned to the nursing facility, somewhat to my surprise. I expected a much longer hospital stay but never mind.
I've just spoken to an LPN on her wing and she is doing as well as can be expected. She is eating well and not experiencing much pain and I'm grateful for that. Just being in a familiar situation around people she knows is a big help I'm sure.
My brother and I are talking about heading up to Kansas City in the next few weeks for a short visit. Our younger brother lives there and is with her so we'll play that by ear for now.
